DEAR DESI - Responses to Questions on Hep C and Syphilis
I’d like to start this entry with one more piece of evidence on the malicious attempts to slander my reputation that AdultFYI.com (search by my name Desi Foxx to get a list of postings they have on me) continues to propagate, that which I pointed out in my last entry. To further prove my case, I wanted to point out that I also ranted on another thread of the same forum at XXXPornTalk.com. I’ve also ranted about the same things on my BLOG recently as well as a while back HERE. You have to ask yourself why they chose to post the 2 rants they did but none of the others. If you take a moment to read the posts at the links above, you can see for yourself why these people chose what they chose and why they didn’t choose these jewels of information to share with the world. I rest my case - AT LEAST UNTIL THE NEXT TIME THEY DECIDE TO SHIT TALK ABOUT ELLI AND I.
I thought it was fitting to share the information above before continuing with this entry since Hep C and Syphilis are the topic of conversation here. No one in porn wants to talk about these issues and they sure don’t want news of possible exposure spread out into the public media. But I am getting questions about my entry on that thread so I thought I’d address some of them here.
1. WHO IS THE PERSON WHO HAS HEP C? I NEED TO KNOW SO I KNOW IF I WORKED WITH THEM AND SHOULD WORRY!
WORRY!! IF YOU'RE SHOOTING IN THE PORN INDUSTRY, YOU SHOULD WORRY!! Of course, I can’t reveal my source on this. That person would surely suffer great humiliation and discrimination at the hands of the porn world and porn media sources. You’ve seen them do it to Elli and I many times over announcing to the world that their mother/daughter websites and videos are fake since we are the first Biological Mother and Daughter to Make and Distribute a Porn Video! Besides, it doesn’t matter who it is. Even if they only did one scene and it was with you, no one is safe from possible exposure. Let’s face it, most of us have been with most of us, RIGHT???? If this person shot 5 times and the 5 people they shot with shot with 5 more people, that’s now 10 possible exposures and so on and so on. You get it???? There’s a case in porn so no one is safe from possible exposure if they’ve shot in the last year at least. The ONLY way to know for sure is to get tested – a full panel of testing to know if you’re clean. Just because the Health Department of LA County isn’t requiring it, doesn’t mean you can’t go get one. GET TESTED TODAY !!!
2. WHERE CAN I GO TO GET INFORMATION ON HEP C AND SYPHILIS?
The usual way of course – Google It! You can also call your local Health Department, your doctor or your local AIM Testing Center. You can get a vast array of information from your AIM Testing Center. Here’s something many may not know. Unlike the testing center in FL (this being where many porn girls and guys start their porn career) that doesn’t give you anything, your first visit to AIM for porn industry testing, you are given an extensive information packet and DVDs on the industry, the diseases associated with it and the possible exposure risks you face, etc. In porn, you have 24-48 hours before you receive your results and can work so you should take that time to seriously read through the packet and watch the DVDs given to inform yourself. NO ONE should be going into this industry without informing themselves as to these risks! You should also inform yourself about the industry as a whole before going in, especially these days
3. WHAT IF I FIND OUT I HAVE IT? THEN WHAT? AM I GOING TO DIE??
Don’t put the cart before the horse! Get yourself tested. Get the results. There are treatments for both of these diseases and the damage can be reversed or of minimum consequence if caught early!! THAT’S THE WHOLE POINT HERE!!!! If these tests were added to the screening process for talents in porn, they would be caught early. People would know so they could get early treatment. It doesn’t cost that much more to add these to the testing process. In NV, we are charged approximately $178 for all the testing we receive (Gonnereah, Chlamydia, HIV, Syphilis and Hep C). There are many that can be saved and rehabilitated if the means were there to help them do so. We need halfway houses, transportation, business clothing, food and medical treatment to be able to help these people get back on their feet. We also need companies who are willing to help those who need jobs. I understand with the economy, this is a tall order since so many are getting laid off and let go these days. They don’t need to be fancy jobs, just income coming in so they can cover their expenses and begin to live normal lives again. As far as I can tell, Shelley’s program is the only one in this country and quite possibly the entire world to specifically help women and men from the adult industries. These people know what we’ve all gone through or are going through. They can understand and help with compassion and empathy. DON’T THINK YOU CAN USE THEM FOR A QUICK FIX!! This program is for serious applicants only!!
